Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. Since the late 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked in television and film. She's received several awards, among them sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after she saw the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. In the year 1980, Bassett graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with the degree of African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American studies) in the year 1980. Angela Bassett has been cast in one the leading roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
