Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 15,1976. Ward went to Monroe Christian School, a Christian private elementary school. For her secondary education, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School, but later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer following her junior year. After graduating the school she attended was Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out of high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling. She decided to try acting a few years later. In the 1970s, she played a minor role uncredited on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. In late 1996Ward was offered a part in the soap opera daytime Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her movie career as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic comedy The In Crowd. While the film failed to earn money at the theatre but it made a splash in the world of cable and DVD. Ward appeared as a character in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and was a supporting character. Alongside her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in numerous guest appearances on television shows including Friends. The character in the role of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 when she was the mother of a girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her private life, she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple had a boy named Cameron.
